[Canary] Air pollution in Southwestern Indiana

Thanks for joining this discussion group and for your work in Indiana.

We've found that the most effective way to involve the public in air 
quality issues is to focus on health and economic concerns above 
environmental impact.  People relate to pocketbook issues. Explain that 
poor air quality drives up the cost of health care and health 
insurance.  Approach health professionals about joining your 
organization and try to find doctors who will act as spokespeople for 
the cause.

Do you have a formal group where you live?  What is it called?  You may 
be interested in affiliating with the Canary Coalition.  If so, we can 
talk about this.
